Possible Causes
Incorrect wiring of external thermostat or BMS, Shorted external control terminals, Incompatible remote control mode selected, Faulty Poolex remote interface board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before modifying control wiring.
Steps:
- Check control mode: On the Poolex display, verify whether external control mode is enabled. If you are not using external control, disable it according to the manual.
- Inspect external wiring: If a remote thermostat or BMS is connected, check for shorts or incorrect connections at the low-voltage terminals.
- Disconnect external control: Temporarily remove external control wires and restore factory jumpers to see if E6 clears.
If the error disappears with external control disconnected, correct the external wiring or replace the remote interface. If it remains, the main control board may be faulty.
