Possible Causes
Faulty main control board, Loose low-voltage harness, Damaged display/keypad board, Electrical surge damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker before touching any internal electronics.
- Power reset: Turn the breaker OFF for at least 2 minutes, then turn it back ON to reboot the Poolworld control system. Check if E07 clears.
- Inspect low-voltage wiring: Remove the front panel and locate the harness between the main control board and the display/keypad board. Ensure all plugs are fully seated and not corroded or burnt.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of water intrusion around the control compartment. Dry any moisture and correct the source of leaks (gaskets, conduit entries).
- Visual board inspection: Examine the control board for burnt components, swollen capacitors, or darkened areas. If present, the board is likely damaged.
- Test operation: After reseating connectors, restore power and attempt to start the heater. If E07 remains, the main control board or display board will likely need replacement.
Warning: Electronic board replacement should be done with anti-static precautions and correct wiring; miswiring can permanently damage the new board.
