Possible Causes

Damaged keypad membrane, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and control board, Water intrusion into control panel, Faulty display board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF power before removing the front control panel.

  • Inspect panel for damage: Look for cracks, UV damage, or signs of water ingress around the keypad area.
  • Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and locate the flat ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the main board. Ensure it is fully inserted and not kinked or torn.
  • Dry moisture: If condensation or water is present, dry the area thoroughly and correct any gasket or cover issues that allowed water in.
  • Test buttons: Restore power and test each button. If some or all buttons are unresponsive and E10 remains, the keypad/display assembly likely needs replacement.

Warning: Do not spray cleaners directly onto the keypad; apply to a cloth first to avoid future water intrusion.
