How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power and allow the heater to cool before inspection.
- Check clearances: Verify that the heater has the minimum clearances specified by Poolworld on all sides. Remove any stored items blocking airflow.
- Clean louvers: Brush or vacuum dust, leaves, and debris from cabinet louvers and intake grilles.
- Inspect cabinet sensor: Locate the ambient/cabinet temperature sensor and ensure it is securely mounted and wired.
- Verify fan operation: On models with cabinet fans, confirm the fan runs when the heater is operating. Replace the fan if seized or noisy.
Warning: Operating the heater in an undersized or unventilated enclosure is unsafe and can cause fire.
