Possible Causes
Worn keypad membrane, Stuck buttons, Faulty display board, Loose ribbon cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before removing the control panel.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually and feel for normal travel. If any button feels stuck, gently work it free; do not use sharp tools.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Ensure the cable between the keypad and main board is fully seated and not damaged.
- Clean panel surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth (power OFF) to remove dirt that may interfere with button operation.
- Replace keypad: If controls remain unresponsive, replace the keypad/display assembly with a Poolworld-compatible part.
Note: Some heaters can be locked via settings; verify that a lockout feature is not enabled in the menu.
