Possible Causes
Damaged membrane keypad, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Loose ribbon cable between keypad and control board, Faulty control board keypad interface
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening the control panel.
Steps to address SWO error:
- Inspect keypad surface: Look for cracks, bubbling, or water under the membrane overlay. Replace if damaged.
- Check ribbon cable: Open the control panel and locate the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the control board. Reseat the connector and ensure it is fully inserted.
- Dry moisture: If moisture is present, gently dry the area with a soft cloth and allow time for complete drying before re‑energizing.
- Test operation: Restore power and test buttons. If SWO persists, the keypad or control board may need replacement.
Note: Always use Raypak‑approved replacement keypads to maintain proper sealing and fit.
