Heater display shows erratic or fluctuating water temperature readings

Safety First: Turn off power before handling sensors or wiring.

• Inspect sensor wiring: Check that the inlet, outlet, pool, and spa sensors are firmly connected and that cables are not damaged.
• Reroute cables: If sensor wires run alongside high-voltage conductors, reroute them to minimize electrical interference.
• Bleed air: Ensure there is no trapped air where sensors are installed; air can cause rapid temperature swings.
• Replace faulty sensor: If one sensor consistently reads incorrectly compared to a reference thermometer, replace it with a Rheem-approved sensor.
