How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: UI failures usually do not affect safety circuits but prevent normal operation.
- Power reset: Turn off power for 1–2 minutes, then restore and test buttons again.
- Inspect panel: Look for signs of water behind the display lens or around the keypad. Dry the area and improve weather protection if needed.
- Check ribbon cable: With power off, open the control panel and reseat the flat ribbon cable between the SmartPool display board and main board.
- Replace keypad: If still unresponsive, the user interface board or membrane will likely need replacement.
