How to Fix / Troubleshooting
DANGER: Flame rollout is a serious safety hazard and can cause fire or carbon monoxide exposure. Do not continue to operate the heater.
- Shut down: Turn off power and gas to the SmartPool heater immediately.
- Visual check (without relighting): After cooling, remove the front panel and look for signs of soot, melted wiring, or scorched insulation near the burners.
- Check rollout switch: Locate the rollout switch near the burner opening. If it has a manual reset button, do not reset it more than once without professional inspection.
- Call a professional: A qualified technician must inspect the heat exchanger, venting, and combustion air supply before the heater is used again.
