Heater causes noticeable vibration or rattling in nearby plumbing or equipment pad

Goal: Isolate and dampen the vibration source.

• Identify source: With the heater running, gently press on cabinet panels, gas pipe, and nearby plumbing to see if the noise changes.
• Tighten hardware: With power off, tighten screws on blower mounts, cabinet panels, and pipe supports.
• Adjust pump speed: Slightly change variable-speed pump RPM to move away from a resonant frequency.
• Add supports: Install additional pipe clamps or vibration pads under the SmartPool heater if needed.
