Electrical safety: Only work inside the electrical compartment with power off.
- Check breaker: Verify the dedicated breaker for the SmartPool heater is on and has not tripped.

- Internal fuses: With power off, open the control compartment and check any fuses on the control board. Replace only with the same type and rating.
