Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Blown internal fuse, Loose power wiring, Failed power switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the breaker before opening any electrical covers.
- Check breaker: Locate the dedicated breaker for the SunHeater in your electrical panel. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not force it; call an electrician or technician.
- Inspect service disconnect: If there is a local disconnect near the heater, ensure it is in the ON position and not corroded.
- Open junction box: With power off, open the heater's electrical junction box. Tighten all wire nuts and lugs. Look for burned insulation or melted connectors.
- Check internal fuse: Remove the front panel and locate any Control Fuses on the main board. Test with a multimeter and replace with identical type if blown.
- Test power switch: If your SunHeater has a rocker or toggle power switch, test continuity across it when ON. Replace the Power Switch if open.
