How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front panel or keypad assembly.

Inspect keypad surface: Look for cracks, bubbling, or discoloration that indicate water ingress.
Check ribbon cable: Ensure the cable from the keypad to the display/control board is fully seated and not damaged.
Dry moisture: If condensation is present, gently dry the area and improve weather sealing around the display.
Replace keypad: Install a new Thermeau keypad/display overlay if buttons remain unresponsive.
Test after replacement: Restore power and verify all buttons function correctly.

Heater keypad buttons are unresponsive or require very hard presses.
