Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the electrical compartment. Only qualified persons should test live circuits.

Check breaker: Verify the circuit breaker for the heater is not tripped. Reset if necessary and observe if it trips again.
Inspect power wiring: Remove the electrical access cover on the Thermeau heater and confirm that line wires are securely attached and not burned.
Test incoming voltage: With a multimeter, confirm correct voltage at the heater’s input terminals.
Check internal fuse: Locate any internal fuse on the control board or power entry. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
Board replacement: If power is present at the board but the display remains dead, the control board’s power supply is likely failed and the board should be replaced.
