Possible Causes
Clogged pump basket, Blocked skimmer or main drain, Faulty AquaFlo flow sensor, Air leak on suction side
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the pump or plumbing.
- Clean pump basket: Remove the AquaFlo pump lid and empty the strainer basket. Rinse thoroughly and reinstall correctly.
- Check skimmer and main drain: Remove skimmer baskets and clear leaves or debris. Ensure main drain covers are not blocked.
- Inspect for air leaks: With the pump running (after re-energizing), look for air bubbles in the pump lid and at return jets. Tighten suction unions and lubricate the lid O-ring if bubbles are present.
- Clean or replace flow sensor: On models with an external flow sensor in the plumbing, shut off valves, remove the sensor, and clean any scale or debris. Replace if the paddle or turbine is damaged.
After restoring normal flow, clear the E10 error via the controller menu and monitor operation.
