Possible Causes
Disconnected water temperature sensor, Broken heater interlock wiring, Failed AquaFlo auxiliary input circuit, Incorrect jumper configuration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power to the pump and any connected heater before servicing auxiliary wiring.
- Check sensor connection: Locate the water temperature sensor or heater interlock terminals on the AquaFlo control board. Ensure connectors are fully seated.
- Inspect cable: Follow the sensor or interlock cable to the heater or plumbing. Look for cuts, abrasions, or rodent damage. Replace if damaged.
- Measure sensor resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance with a multimeter. Compare to AquaFlo’s temperature vs. resistance chart. Replace if out of range.
- Verify jumpers: If no heater is installed, ensure the appropriate jumper is installed across the interlock terminals as specified in the manual.
