Possible Causes

Normal inverter switching noise on variable-speed AquaFlo pumps, Loose motor laminations, Resonance with mounting surface, Failing drive components

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before touching the pump or base.

  • Isolate vibration: Install rubber isolation pads under the pump base to reduce resonance.
  • Check mounting bolts: Tighten all motor and pump mounting hardware.
  • Adjust speed: Slightly change programmed speeds to move away from resonant frequencies that cause whine.
  • Monitor for change: If the noise suddenly worsens or is accompanied by errors, have the AquaFlo drive and motor inspected.
