Possible Causes
Overtemperature derating, Internal fault causing safe-mode operation, Incorrect configuration limiting max RPM
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before inspecting the unit.
- Check ventilation and temperature: Ensure the Aquaflow pump has adequate airflow and is not overheating. Clear obstructions and provide shade if necessary.
- Review settings: Enter the configuration menu and verify that maximum speed limits are not set too low.
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for 5 minutes to clear temporary derate conditions, then restore.
If E18 and low-speed operation persist with normal temperatures and correct settings, the control board may be locked in a safe mode and require replacement.
