How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and close valves before opening the pump.
- Clean basket: Remove the Aquaflow pump lid and strainer basket. Clear all debris.
- Inspect impeller: Shine a flashlight into the impeller opening and look for foreign objects. Use long-nose pliers to remove any debris.
- Check for play: Gently move the impeller (if accessible) to feel for looseness on the shaft.
If the impeller is cracked or loose, replace it with a compatible Aquaflow impeller and inspect the mechanical seal at the same time.
