Possible Causes
Shorted motor windings, Water inside motor junction box, Damaged power cord or conduit, Shorted control board components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker. Turn off the breaker and leave it off until the fault is found.
- Inspect wiring: Check the Aquaflow pump's power cable, junction box, and conduit for visible damage or burn marks.
- Check for moisture: Open the motor terminal box and control housing to look for water or corrosion. Dry thoroughly if present.
- Isolate motor: Disconnect the motor leads from the control board or terminal block. Turn on the breaker with the motor disconnected. If it still trips, the wiring or control board is suspect; if not, the motor is likely shorted.
Shorted motors or boards should be replaced by a qualified technician.
