Possible Causes
Incoming supply voltage below specification, Loose line or neutral connection at terminal block, Undersized extension cable or long cable run causing voltage drop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the pool sub‑panel breaker and verify with a non-contact voltage tester before touching any wiring.
- Check supply voltage: With a multimeter and power restored, measure voltage at the AquaJet pump input terminals. It should match the nameplate rating (typically 230V ±10% or 115V ±10%). If it is low, contact an electrician to correct the circuit.
- Inspect wiring connections: Turn power back off. Remove the AquaJet control cover and inspect the line (L) and neutral (N) terminals. Tighten any loose screws and look for discoloration or melted insulation.
- Remove extension cords: AquaJet pool pumps must be hard‑wired or connected with a dedicated, properly sized cable. Do not use light‑duty extension cords; replace with permanent wiring of the correct gauge.
- Reset the pump: After correcting wiring or voltage issues, restore power and press the pump's RESET or START button. If E01 persists with correct voltage, the control board may be overly sensitive or damaged and should be evaluated by a technician.
