Possible Causes
Loose keypad ribbon cable, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Failed user interface board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the control panel enclosure.
- Dry the panel: If condensation or water is visible inside the AquaJet keypad area, gently dry with a lint‑free cloth and allow the unit to air dry for several hours before re‑energizing.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control cover and locate the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and main control board. Reseat both ends and ensure the locking tabs are engaged.
- Inspect for corrosion: Look for green or white corrosion on connectors. Light corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with contact cleaner; heavy corrosion usually requires board replacement.
- Replace keypad module: If E10 persists and wiring is intact, replace the AquaJet keypad/user interface assembly as specified for your model.
