Possible Causes
Failed water temperature probe, Probe wiring damaged, Water temperature exceeding sensor limit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before handling any sensor wiring or opening the pump housing.
- Check actual water temperature: Use a pool thermometer to verify water temperature. If it is extremely high (e.g., from solar heating), allow the pool to cool before restarting.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Locate the AquaJet water temperature sensor (often installed in the pump housing or nearby plumbing). Ensure the connector is secure and the cable is not cut or abraded.
- Test sensor resistance: With power off, disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance with a multimeter. Compare to AquaJet specifications for the measured water temperature. Replace if out of range.
- Clear code: After correcting the issue, restore power and clear E11 via the control panel.
