Possible Causes
Electrical noise on supply line, Poor grounding or bonding, Faulty communication cable between external controller and AquaJet pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before modifying wiring or communication cables.
- Check grounding and bonding: Verify that the AquaJet pump, pool equipment, and control panel are properly bonded together and grounded.
- Inspect communication wiring: If the pump is controlled by an external automation system, check the low‑voltage communication cable for damage, loose terminals, or water ingress.
- Route cables correctly: Keep low‑voltage communication cables separated from high‑voltage power cables to reduce interference.
- Isolate the pump: Temporarily disconnect external control and operate the AquaJet pump in standalone mode. If E12 disappears, the issue is with the external controller or cabling.
