Possible Causes
Failed internal start relay on control board, Burned relay contacts, Loose motor lead connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and verify zero voltage before opening the control housing.
- Inspect motor leads: Ensure all motor leads are securely fastened to the AquaJet control board output terminals.
- Listen for relay: With the cover on and power restored, attempt to start the pump and listen for a click. A click with no motor response often indicates burned contacts.
- Check for discoloration: With power off, inspect the control board around the relay for heat damage.
- Replace control board: The start relay is typically not field‑serviceable; replace the AquaJet control board assembly if E20 persists.
