How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and close valves before opening the pump housing.
- Open pump housing: Remove the AquaJet pump lid and basket. If noise persists, separate the pump housing from the motor to access the impeller.
- Inspect impeller: Check that the impeller is firmly threaded onto the motor shaft. Tighten by hand while holding the shaft at the rear with a wrench if needed.
- Remove debris: Clear any stones, plastic, or other hard objects from the volute and impeller vanes.
- Replace damaged impeller: If vanes are cracked or missing, replace the impeller with the correct AquaJet part number.
