Pump runs but there are large amounts of air bubbles visible in the pump lid and at the pool returns.

Safety first: Turn off power before tightening fittings or opening the pump.

• Check water level: Ensure pool water is high enough to fully cover the skimmer opening.
• Inspect lid and O‑ring: Clean and lubricate the AquaJet pump lid O‑ring and ensure the lid is tight.
• Soap test: With the pump running, apply a mixture of dish soap and water to suction‑side joints and watch for the soap being sucked in, indicating a leak.
• Repair leaks: Tighten or replace leaking unions, fittings, or valves. Cracked fittings should be cut out and replaced.
