Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not work on live circuits. Turn off the main breaker before opening any electrical enclosures.
- Check breaker and RCD: Inspect the switchboard for a tripped breaker or RCD feeding the AstralPool pump. Reset once; if it trips again, call an electrician.
- Verify outlet power: If plugged into a socket, test the outlet with another appliance or a plug-in tester.
- Inspect pump terminal block: With power isolated, remove the terminal cover and ensure all wires are secure and not burnt.
- Look for signs of damage: Burnt smell, melted plastic or water inside the control housing indicate internal failure; do not attempt to power it again.
If external power is confirmed good and the pump remains dead, the internal power board or motor is likely failed and should be replaced by a technician.
