Safety first: Turn off the pump before removing the lid.

• Inspect O-ring: Remove the AstralPool pump lid and examine the O-ring for cracks, flattening or cuts. Clean the groove and lid mating surface.
• Lubricate O-ring: Apply a thin film of silicone-based lubricant (never petroleum jelly) to the O-ring and reinstall.
• Seat and tighten lid: Ensure the lid is properly aligned and hand-tightened evenly. Do not overtighten to avoid cracking.
• Replace if damaged: If the O-ring is worn, replace it with the correct AstralPool lid O-ring part.
