Pump lid is very difficult to remove or reinstall; may leak after reassembly.

• Clean sealing surfaces: Remove the lid and O‑ring. Clean the groove and mating surface thoroughly to remove sand and debris.
• Inspect O‑ring: Replace any O‑ring that is cracked, flattened, or swollen. Use only Bestway‑specified seals.
• Lubricate: Apply a thin coat of silicone‑based lubricant to the O‑ring to ease installation and improve sealing.
• Hand‑tighten only: Reinstall the lid by hand until snug. Do not use tools to overtighten, as this can warp the lid and cause leaks.
