Pump loses prime and stops moving water after running normally for some time.

Safety first: Unplug the pump before opening the lid or hoses.

• Check pool water level: Ensure water is well above the inlet/strainer openings so air cannot be drawn in.
• Clean inlet strainers: Remove and clean the Bestway pool inlet and outlet strainers to ensure unrestricted flow.
• Inspect suction line: Check all suction hose connections and O‑rings for leaks. Tighten and replace as needed.
• Re‑prime pump: Fill the pump basket housing completely with water, reinstall the lid, and restart. If prime is repeatedly lost, consider relocating the pump closer to water level or shortening suction hose length.
