Safety first: Turn off the pump before adjusting pool fittings.

• Raise water level: Fill the pool so that water is well above the inlet/strainer openings.
• Clean inlet strainer: Remove debris from the Bestway inlet fitting to ensure even flow.
• Adjust flow: If your system allows, reduce pump speed or partially close a bypass to reduce suction intensity at the inlet.
• Reposition inlet (if possible): Angle the inlet fitting slightly downward to reduce vortex formation at the surface.
