How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before adjusting switches or opening the system.
- Observe control signals: Watch the pressure or flow switch status LEDs (if present) while the pump runs. Rapid on/off indicates a faulty or misadjusted switch.
- Adjust setpoints: In the Calpeda controller, review start/stop thresholds and differential settings. Increase the differential to reduce cycling frequency.
- Bleed air from system: Open air bleed valves on filters or high points in the piping to remove trapped air that may cause pressure spikes.
- Replace faulty switch: If a pressure or flow switch chatters or has inconsistent readings, replace it with a Calpeda-approved component.
