Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate electrical supply and ensure the pump cannot start unexpectedly.
- Open the pump: Remove the pump lid and basket. Shine a torch into the volute to look for stones, cable ties, or other debris lodged in the impeller.
- Access the impeller: On Certikin Aquaspeed and Swimflo pumps, remove the motor from the wet end by undoing the through-bolts. Inspect the impeller and diffuser for obstructions or damage.
- Check mechanical seal: Look for broken ceramic or carbon pieces from the mechanical seal that may have entered the impeller area. If the seal has failed, replace the complete Certikin mechanical seal set.
- Test shaft rotation: With the wet end removed, rotate the motor shaft. If it is stiff or seized, the motor bearings are likely failed and the motor should be repaired or replaced.
After clearing any obstruction and replacing damaged parts, reassemble the pump, ensure correct alignment, and test. If E07 persists, the controller's stall detection settings or the motor itself may be at fault.
