Possible Causes
Blocked cooling vents on controller, failed cooling fan in inverter, high ambient temperature in plant room, controller mounted in unventilated enclosure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing covers.
- Clean vents: Vacuum dust from the Certikin inverter/controller cooling slots and ensure there is at least the recommended clearance around the unit.
- Check cooling fan: If fitted, confirm the internal fan runs when the pump is operating. Replace if seized or noisy.
- Improve ventilation: Provide additional ventilation or forced air in the plant room if temperatures are high, especially in summer.
- Reduce load temporarily: Run the pump at a lower speed until permanent cooling improvements are made.
Persistent E13 faults after cleaning and fan replacement indicate a failing inverter module that may need replacement.
