• Clean all strainers: Empty Certikin skimmer baskets and the pump strainer basket.
• Open valves fully: Ensure suction valves are fully open to reduce restriction.
• Check installation height: Verify that the pump is installed within Certikin's recommended height above water level. Excessive lift can cause cavitation.
• Observe pump housing: Look through the clear lid for excessive air. If present, check for suction leaks at unions and the lid O‑ring.
