Possible Causes
Supply voltage too low, Loose terminal connections in control box, Undersized extension cable or long cable run, Internal power supply board fault in DAB inverter/control module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power at the breaker before opening any electrical box. Water and electricity are a lethal combination.
Steps to check:
- Verify supply voltage: Use a multimeter (by a qualified person) at the DAB pump power terminals or control box. Confirm the voltage matches the pump rating (e.g. 230 V ±10%). If voltage is below spec, contact an electrician or your power provider.
- Inspect wiring connections: Open the DAB control box or terminal cover. Check that L, N, and Earth are firmly clamped, with no burnt or discoloured insulation. Tighten any loose screws.
- Remove extension leads: If the pump is powered via a long or thin extension cable, connect it directly to a properly rated outlet or install a dedicated circuit. Undersized cables cause voltage drop.
- Reset the pump: After correcting supply issues, turn the breaker off for 2–3 minutes, then back on. Clear the error by pressing the reset/stop button (if present) on the DAB control panel.
- If E01 persists with correct voltage: The internal low‑voltage detection circuit on the DAB inverter/control module may be faulty. Do not bypass protections; contact a DAB service centre or a qualified pool technician.
