• Check lid seal: Clean and lubricate the DAB pump lid O‑ring, then tighten the lid firmly.
• Tighten unions: Hand‑tighten suction side unions and check for drips when the pump is off.
• Inspect skimmer and hoses: Ensure the skimmer weir is not stuck and that vacuum hoses are fully submerged and free of pinholes.
• Observe pump basket: If air persists under the lid, systematically check each suction source for leaks.
