Possible Causes

Incoming mains voltage too low, Loose line or neutral connection at terminal block, Undersized extension cable or long cable run causing voltage drop

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the circuit breaker feeding the Emaux pump and verify power is off with a non-contact voltage tester before opening any electrical cover.

  • Check supply voltage: Using a multimeter (by a qualified person), measure voltage at the pump input terminals. Compare with the rating on the Emaux pump nameplate (e.g. 220–240 V single phase). If voltage is more than 10% below rating, contact an electrician to correct the supply.
  • Inspect terminal block: Remove the electrical cover on the Emaux pump motor/control box. Tighten line and neutral screws on the terminal block. Look for discoloration, melted insulation, or burnt smell; if present, the wiring harness or terminal block may need replacement.
  • Remove extension leads: Do not run the pump through long, undersized extension cords. Connect directly to a properly rated, dedicated circuit.
  • Reset the controller: After correcting wiring or supply issues, restore power, press STOP/RESET (if available on the Emaux controller), then press START again.

If E01 persists with correct voltage present, the control PCB may be damaged and a professional technician should test and replace it.
