Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Three‑phase circuits are hazardous. Only qualified personnel should open the electrical panel or measure voltages.
- Verify three‑phase supply: Using a multimeter, check that all three phases are present at the pump input and match the voltage specified on the Emaux nameplate.
- Tighten terminals: With power off and locked out, tighten all phase and earth connections at the pump terminal block and in the pool equipment panel.
- Inspect for burnt wiring: Look for discoloration or melted insulation on any of the phase conductors. Replace damaged wiring and lugs.
- Test again: Restore power and attempt to start the pump. If E05 persists with correct supply, the internal inverter or control PCB is likely defective.
Ongoing E05 faults generally require replacement of the inverter/control module or motor assembly by an Emaux service center.
