Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This fault may indicate a shock hazard. Turn off the breaker immediately and do not touch the pump while powered.
- Inspect for moisture: With power off, remove the terminal cover and check for condensation, water droplets, or corrosion. Dry the area thoroughly with a clean cloth and allow to air dry.
- Check cable entry glands: Ensure the cable gland on the motor terminal box is tight and the rubber grommet is intact to prevent water ingress.
- Look for burn marks: Any signs of arcing or carbon tracking on the terminal block or PCB indicate serious insulation failure.
- Test insulation resistance: A qualified technician should perform an insulation resistance test (megger) on the motor windings to confirm they are safe.
If E07 recurs or insulation resistance is low, the motor assembly or control PCB must be replaced. Do not continue to operate the pump with a ground fault present.
