Possible Causes
Corrupted EEPROM on control PCB, Incorrect parameter programming, Firmware glitch after power interruption
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening the control housing.
- Factory reset: If available on your Emaux model, enter the settings menu and perform a factory reset to restore default parameters.
- Check for recent changes: If E09 appeared after adjusting speed or timer settings, revert to previous settings or defaults.
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for at least 10 minutes to fully discharge internal capacitors, then restore power and test.
- Firmware update: If Emaux provides firmware updates for your controller, follow their official procedure to reflash the unit (usually requires a technician).
If E09 persists, the control PCB’s memory is likely defective and the board should be replaced.
