Pump is unusually quiet but water flow is much lower than expected; motor speed seems reduced on a variable-speed Emaux pump.

Safety first: Keep clear of moving parts while adjusting settings.

• Check speed setting: On the Emaux control panel, verify the current speed (RPM) or power level. Increase to a higher preset and observe flow.
• Review programs: Inspect timer programs to ensure that at least one period uses a higher speed for filtration and backwashing.
• Check external control: If connected to automation, temporarily disconnect control wiring and run the pump in local/manual mode to see if speed returns to normal.
• Restore defaults: If settings are confusing, perform a factory reset and reprogram according to the Emaux manual.

If the pump cannot reach higher speeds even when commanded, there may be a drive or motor fault requiring service.
