How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power and close valves before opening the pump housing.
- Open pump housing: Remove the clamp band or housing bolts on the Emaux pump and separate the wet end from the motor.
- Inspect impeller: Check for cracks, missing vanes, or a loose fit on the shaft. Replace the impeller if damaged.
- Remove debris: Clear any stones, screws, or other foreign objects from the volute and diffuser.
- Reassemble carefully: Ensure the diffuser and O‑rings are correctly seated before tightening the housing.
Persistent mechanical noise after replacing the impeller may indicate motor shaft damage and require motor replacement.
