Possible Causes
Damaged or unbalanced impeller, Loose mounting bolts, Pump not level on base
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the pump before tightening any bolts or touching the housing.
- Check mounting: Ensure the Emaux pump is firmly bolted to a solid, level base. Tighten mounting bolts evenly.
- Inspect impeller: Remove the pump housing and check the impeller for missing pieces or heavy deposits on one side that could cause imbalance. Clean or replace as needed.
- Align pipework: Make sure the connected pipes are not forcing the pump into a twisted position. Adjust supports or unions to relieve stress.
- Test run: After reassembly, run the pump and observe vibration. Minor vibration is normal; strong shaking is not.
Severe vibration that cannot be corrected by these steps may indicate a bent motor shaft and require motor replacement.
