How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the pump before opening the control housing.
Steps:
- 1. Reset the controller: Press and hold the reset or power button (if available) according to the Flowclear manual, or unplug the unit for 5 minutes to clear temporary faults.
- 2. Reprogram timer: Set the current time and desired run schedule again, following the Flowclear instructions. Confirm AM/PM or 24-hour settings.
- 3. Surge protection: If the issue followed a storm or outage, connect the pump through a surge-protected outlet strip.
- 4. Inspect PCB: If accessible, check the control PCB for burn marks or corrosion. If present, the board should be replaced.
- 5. Replace control board: Persistent E10 usually indicates a failed timer circuit; replace the Flowclear control PCB.
