Possible Causes
Debris lodged in impeller causing imbalance, Pump not on a level surface, Missing or damaged Flowclear rubber feet, Loose mounting screws
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the pump before touching or moving it.
Steps:
- 1. Level the pump: Place the Flowclear pump on a flat, solid surface such as a concrete pad or sturdy paver.
- 2. Check rubber feet: Inspect the base for missing or damaged rubber feet or pads. Replace them to absorb vibration.
- 3. Clean impeller: Remove the pump lid and basket, then inspect the impeller for trapped debris on one side. Clean thoroughly to restore balance.
- 4. Tighten fasteners: Check and tighten any accessible screws or bolts securing the motor to the pump housing.
- 5. Retest: Reassemble and run the pump. If severe vibration persists, the impeller or motor shaft may be bent and the pump head or motor should be replaced.
