• 2. Check suction hose routing: Avoid high loops and ensure the hose slopes gently from pool to pump.
• 3. Seal lid and fittings: Clean and lubricate the pump lid O-ring, and tighten all suction fittings. Replace any cracked adapters or O-rings.
• 4. Prime properly: Fill the pump housing completely with water before starting. It may take several minutes for all air to purge.
• 5. Replace faulty parts: If prime is still lost quickly, replace suspect Flowclear suction hose and fittings.
