Possible Causes

Tripped breaker or GFCI, Faulty power outlet, Damaged Flowclear power cord, Internal fuse blown on control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not open the pump while it is plugged in. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.

Steps:

  • 1. Check outlet and breaker: Test the outlet with another device. Reset any tripped breaker or GFCI. If it trips again immediately, stop and investigate for faults.
  • 2. Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, abrasions, or crushed sections on the Flowclear cord. If damaged, the cord or entire pump should be replaced.
  • 3. Try another outlet: Plug the pump into a different, known-good outlet (without extension cords) to rule out supply issues.
  • 4. Internal fuse: If comfortable and allowed by the manual, open the control housing and check for a replaceable fuse on the PCB. Replace only with the same rating.
  • 5. Replace control module: If the fuse is intact and there is still no power, the control PCB or motor assembly may have failed and should be replaced.
