How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the pump before removing the lid.
Steps:
- 1. Remove and inspect O-ring: Take off the Flowclear pump lid and remove the O-ring. Check for cracks, flat spots, or stretching.
- 2. Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the groove and lid contact area clean of sand, dirt, and debris.
- 3. Lubricate O-ring: Apply a thin coat of pool-safe silicone lubricant to the O-ring and reinstall it in the groove.
- 4. Check lid for cracks: Inspect the clear lid for hairline cracks around the threads or center. Replace the Flowclear lid if damaged.
